People deserve a second shot at life. That is the lesson that we all learned from the homeless man turned radio announcer, Teddy Williams. With difficulties in his past, he got involved to things that he wasn’t supposed to be involved with. He used drugs and he ended up homeless. Originally from, Detroit, he was discovered having a placard that says “God given voice” for a dollar. It just happened that Williams was in the right part at the right time. But in all honesty, life is harsh and most often not so many instances lead to a happy ending. This is the reason why a great number of untold stories similar to how Williams ended up on the streets stay there until the day they die. For a young child, he or she is expecting that the guidance of his or her parents is always the best, and nothing could go wrong. But as people grow up and they live their lives, chances are they will be left on their own and they are expected by the world to be responsible for their own actions. The sad part is, not everything turns out to be all positive. Just like the story of Teddy Williams, a man’s life could all of a sudden take the 180 degree turn because of different circumstances.
